SYDNEY: Bush Australia has just announced a new appointment to its team with Phil Russel coming on as sales agent for North Queensland.

Russel has been hired to help propel sales and increase customer service throughout North Queensland. He will be responsible for the Mt Isa and Mackay North regions.

According to Bush Australia, this is a newly created role driven by the current customer demand in the area.

Brian Rodgers, Bush Australia sales and marketing director, commented on the new appointment.

“I am very excited to have Phil join our Sales team and know that he will bring a new enthusiasm to the team and really power sales in this area,” he said.

“This year, we are very focused on providing our retailers the best possible service and products and adding Phil to our team is a part of this move.”

Russel has more than 17 years experience in the industry, working at both Harvey Norman and The Good Guys before starting NQ Agencies in 2005. Phil also represents Yamaha, Saeco, Thor, Home Theatre Group and U-Build Furniture.
